Grand Prize winners must obtain a valid New York City marriage license no later than Friday June 1, 2012 or prize will be forfeited.

To enter, write an essay, 300 words or less about 'How you met - the place, the proposal, the ring, your reaction and more. Plus, mention how a Caribbean honeymoon would be the icing on the cake'.

This contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry, except employees (and their immediate families) of MarryCaribbean.com, CaribbeanWeddingAssociation.com, Caribbean Tourism Organization, St. Kitt's, and any other sponsors of this event.

Entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, garbled, or incompletely received, for any reason, including by reason of hardware, software, browser, or network failure, malfunction, congestion, or incompatibility at Sponsors servers or elsewhvere, will not be eligible. Sponsors, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the web site. Use of bots or other automated process to enter is prohibited and may result in disqualification at the sole discretion of Sponsors. Sponsors further reserve the right to cancel, terminate or modify any promotion not capable of completion as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, force majeure or technical failures of any sort. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access Provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institute) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

Essays will be judged by a panel of experts from www.MarryCaribbean.com and the Caribbean Tourism Organization on content (25%) creativity (25%) presentation of material (25%) and writing skills (25%). The judges will select five finalists, each of whom must respond within 14 days of attempted notification or an alternate finalist may be chosen. These finalists will be required to submit a brief biography, an eligibility questionnaire, photo of themselves with their fiance(e) for publicity purposes, and be interviewed by telephone. Judges will select one (1) potential grand prize winner from among the five finalists on or about April 15, 2012. Potential winner will be notified by phone or email. Participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges are final. All entries become the property of sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned, providing your e-mail address-you grant Sponsors the right to send you commercial messages and share your address with others, unless specified otherwise as indicated on the entry form.

MarryCaribbean NYC Wedding Contest Winners - June 8, 2011

Grand Prize winner may not change their selection of honeymoon prize package after entering the contest. The prize must be booked by June 17, 2012. Prize is subject to availability, blackout dates and restrictions may apply. The Sponsors make no warranties with regard to any prize. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions for prizes except by Sponsors in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted. Prizes are not redeemable by winner for cash value. Depending on the package selected, airfare, ground transportation, taxes, meals and service changes may not be included. Transportation to New York City is not included. In-room charges (e.g. mini-bar, movies) telephone calls, gratuities, incidentals, and all other expenses are not included. See below for a description of the honeymoon packages and the approximate retail value of each, which depends on the actual itinerary:

Acceptance of any portion of the prize constitutes consent by the winner to the use of their name, likeness, winning entry and/or photograph for editorial, advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation (except where prohibited). Potential winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility (including social security number)/Permission/copyright Release and potential winner and travel companion a Liability/Publicity release, which must be returned within 14 days of attempted notification or an alternate winner mya be chosen.

This contest is void outside the 50 United States and District of Columbia and where prohibited, and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Sponsors are not responsible for errors in the administration or fulfillment of this contest, including without limitation mechanical, human, printing, distribution or production errors, and may modify or cancel this promotion based upon such error as its sole discretion without liability.

Income and other taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Entrants agree Sponsors, their directors; officers and employees shall have no liability with regard to the conduct of the contest and/or the awarding of or use of the prize and hereby waive any and all claims against sponsors arising there from.
